BASS FAMILY HOLD REUNION
Zeno Bass Sr. And Relatives Have Big Time At Zeno Bass Jr. Home Last Sunday
Our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Zeno Bass, Sr. of this city enjoyed a very pleasant family reunion and home coming last Sunday down at the home of their son Zeno Bass Jr. near Strahan.
All the children were present with the exception of one daughter Mrs. C.E. Dillehay of Logan, who was unable to come.
There were altogether about fifty five in the company including the five children and their families, 18 grand children and 9 great frand children and wives and husbands of children and grand children, and a few friends.
They met ant noon at the beautiful Bass home and were served a big picnic dinner caffeteria [sic] style, which they ate on the lawn and on the big porches. It was a day long to be remembered by Mr. and and [sic] Mrs. Bass and their descendants and so much enjoyed by all of them that they are already planning on making it an annual event. All the children and grand children present were very enthusiastic about this for they say they had about the best time they every enjoyed at any picnic.
