Phyllis was born and raised in Batrice, Nebraska by Marjorie and Jay. She attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a major in Business Education. She started teaching in Colorado and soon after started showing her talents in the business world.
She first went to work for IBM in San Francisco and then went on to Redactron in NY. She continued to onto Occidental Petroleum in Houston (where she met her husband Jeff) and then to Datapoint in San Antonio. Soon after marrying in 1979, she and her husband Jeff went into business together and formed a company called Computerbasics which thriver for over 10 years. They spent 30 years in San Antonio and then packed their belongings in 2009 and headed west to California where her two nieces now reside.
She is survived by her husband Jeff Noynaert, her step daughter Juliet Noynaert, and granddaughter Roxanne and her two nieces Christi Banner and Jenny Nasiell.
For her entire life, Phyllis was always a bright spirit. She signature smile would flash and just warm everyone's heart. She always spread warmth and love to every soul, and on every occasion. Phyllis was lovingly known as "Aunt Phyll" to Jenny and Christi, from the beginning until the end. She had a place in their lives that was very special. Known fondly as Nanna, Phyllis was a wondering loving mother to Juliet and grandmother to Roxanne. To all the women in her life, Phyllis embodied the strength of living as an independent woman. She will be dearly missed.
A memorial reception was held at the local Methodist church which she attended regularly and where she was a proud choir member.
