Couple weds in Silver Creek
OSCEOLA - Pamela Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jones, was married Saturday evening to Lee Van Winkle, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Van Winkle, Silver Creek.
The Rev. Charles V. Davidson officiated in United Methodist Church, Silver Creek. Organist was Miss Cindy Baker and vocalist was Miss Jami Peterson, both of STromsburg. Lighting tapers were Duane and Kevin Van Winkle of Silver Creek.
Mrs. Randy Pollard of Clarks was matron of honor; Miss DeLois Van Winkle of Silver Creek, maid of honor; Mrs, Merton Flodman, bridesmatron. Kim Carlson of Clarks acted as flower girl and Chad Flodman was ring bearer.
Attending the groom were Scott Van Winkle, best man, Nell and Lyndon Van Winkle; seating guests were Rod Gaedeke and Clint Van Winkle, all of Silver Creek.
Silk organza and Venise lace fashioned the bridal gown, featuring Camelot slleves and a cathedral train. Her veil had a Camelot headpiece, and yellow roses were combined with multi-colored carnations in her bouquet.
Bride's attendants wore gowns of organza and lace in pastel blue, green and yellow, respectively, and carried lacy parasols adorned with carnations and roses in those colors.
Miss Cindy Jones presided at the guest book. Serving at the reception, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Buss Van Winkle, were Mmes. Rex Graham, Ted Dittmer, Don Pollock and Glenn Carter. Gift helpers were Barb Pehrson, Kathy Rystrom, LuAnn and Mary Engel.
After a Colorado trip, the couple will live in Osceola where the bride is employed at Good Samaritan Center; the groom, at Co-op Oil.
