Emma Lindells father, Peter (1859-1939), changed his last name to Lindell while working in Lincoln NE. He got the idea from the Lindell Hotel in Lincoln. He was Per Pearson before. Emma grew up in Ceresco NE at 225 Beech Street. The home is still there (2004). Emma is the sister of Noble Lindell.
Emma's mother, Else Munson Lindell, (1854-1944) was a Monson. John Monson was his name. or Munson? Else came to America when she was 18 years old (1872?) with her sister, Mrs. John Munson. Another name in her story is Olof Munson. Olof supposedy came here, scouted the area then went back to Sweden and brought the family here.
