Services Saturday, 2:30 p.m. at Emmanual Lutheran Church in Ceresco, the Rev. Phil R. Ekblad officiating. Swedeburg Lutheran Cemetery.

In a note off to the side, it says something about leaving for Amerika in 1875.

In an undated entry for 1875, the family of Soldat Anders Gustaf Brodd is listed as "utan attest" which means "without papers" and their destination is Amerika. Also listed is wife Gustafva Johansdotter, daugher Anna Mathilda, son Johan August and daughter Augusta Charlotta. Two other soliders and their families are also listed.
Moving Out record for Soldat Brodd and family Emigration 7 May 1875 Göteborg, Sweden [4] - Although the family is listed with the surname Anderson, I am certain this is the correct family. It correctly lists the parish (Håkantorp), the number of passengers, and the time frame. Three of the five names are correct. Because A.G. escaped military service and the family left without papers from their home parish, they may have had cause to not mention their soldier's name (Brodd).
