BLAIR - Robert O. SCOLES, 75, of Blair, formerly of Mead, died Jan. 8 in Omaha. Scoles was born June 22, 1928, to Ordray A. and Julia Frances (Otto) Scoles on the family farm at Riverton, Iowa. On March 28, 1949, he married Viola Widman in Mead. His wife died in 2002. On July 26, 2003, he married Joyce Graybill in Blair. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; his parents; brothers, Henry and O. A. Scoles Jr.; and sisters, Ila Coslett, Norma Duncan and Lona Schulz. Funeral services were held Jan. 10 at Alma Lutheran Church in Mead with Rev. Kenneth Jensen officiating. Burial was at Alma Lutheran Cemetery. Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home of Wahoo was in charge of the arrangements.
