Edith Jasa, 77, of Wahoo, died January 27, 1992 at the Saunders County Community Hospital. She was a former deputy for the Register of Deeds office.
She was born November 29, 1914 at Ceresco to John and Hilma (Greenberg) Brodd and grew up on the farm, attending grade in high school in Ceresco, graduating in 1932. She attended Luther College in Wahoo for two years.
She worked at the Mead Ordinance Plant and also the Alaskan Highway Project. She worked for attorney Joe Berggren as a secretary and served as deputy of Register Deeds for three years. She was also a part-time cashier at the Fairview Caf

MISS EDITH BRODD AND LEONARD JASA MARRY AT CERESCO
In the presence of 90 guests, Miss Edith Brodd daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brodd of Ceresco, became the bride of Leonard B. Jasa, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jasa at three o'clock Sunday afternoon November 18. The wedding took place in the Inuel Lutheran church at Ceresco, where Rev. A. H. Peterson performed the single ring ceremony.
Miss Ardis Oakeson sang, "O Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly," preceding the ceremony and was accompanied at the organ by Mrs. William Hellerich who played the organ throughout the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Evald Brodd sang "Saviour Like A Shepd Lead Us" and Evald Brodd sang "The Lord's Prayer," while the couple knelt at the altar. Bouquets of white chrysanthemums and ferns formed an attractive background lighted with candelabras.
